The views were amazing. We loved waking up to the ocean views each day and enjoyed eating dinner on the balcony while watching the glow of the sunset on the water. We stayed 6 nights at the charming property for a special birthday and it meet all our expectations. Quiet and convenient as well as clean. The location is perfect the beach is just a short walk on either side of Cliff Dr. We also enjoyed the coffee shop, restaurants, and grocery store which are also walking distance and the trolley stop just across the street that takes you downtown, very convenient if you don't want to deal with parking . Gerri and Art were very gracious hosts, thanks again for the flowers. What we enjoyed the most was waking up to the ocean view and eating meals on the balcony as well as the ocean breeze, there is a bbq grill and we grilled seafood one day and walked to Heisler park for a wonderful picnic. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

This property fully exceeded my expectations. The location is unparalleled with super-easy walking access to spectacular beaches and local restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment is charming, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with all manner of supplies including battery operated clip lights for night reading--my personal favorite and a vacation rental first for me! The ocean view is breathtaking! Geri, our host, and her daughter, were beyond flexible and accommodating when we changed our group composition as a result of a last-minute family emergency. I cannot say more about how friendly, caring and kind they were to us! My only regret was having to leave, and since that moment, I have been plotting my return as soon as possible!

This is an absolutely fabulous rental with views of the ocean from the deck and both bedrooms. It is beautifully laid out and appointed--makes you feel like you are in a 1940s cottage by the beach. The place is so very comfortable and both the house and the views are better than the pictures that advertised the rental. I would stay there again and often.

The house is so tastefully remodeled and thoughtfully arranged. The patio has one of the best views we've seen in Laguna and is hard to pull yourself away from! The location is superb in a residential neighborhood with short walks to several beaches including some that we never knew were there. You can easily walk through Heisler Park into downtown Laguna and there are good local dining options just down the block from the house. It's on a major street (PCH) but you really don't hear the noise other than when in the kitchen or bathroom given how the house is situated. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

If you know Laguna and it’s origins, the beach bungalows that lined the coast were special architectural treasures of the time. This property is an amazing time capsule of a time long past before the exceptional costal estates there now. Impeccably kept, tastefully upgraded and with a fantastically convenient location this property is truly special. We loved our stay in Laguna. The apartment is in a perfect location on the North side of town. It’s walking distance to Shaw’s Cove, a nice small beach and Heisler Park which is absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed having a grocery store super close and walkable, a coffee shop, and a small private gym that my sons, 21 and 17, were able to get day passes and work out. The apartment has amazing views from both bedrooms, the living room and the wonderful porch where we spent most of our time when we were there. We also loved walking Crystal Cove Beach which is just a few minutes up the road. Our favorite restaurant in Laguna was 230 on Forrest Ave and we also enjoyed The Beachcomber in the historic part of Crystal Cove State Park. Gerri, our host, was very quick to respond and help resolve an issue we had. She is a great host and has created a very well equipped and comfortable home for guests. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Our stay in Laguna Beach was absolutely perfect! We came to get away from the cold in Minnesota and could not have been happier. The Cottage has the absolute best of everything; and as awesome as the photos provided. The views from the huge windows are breathtaking - waking up in the morning to see the ocean and palm trees could not be any better. The porch was perfect for relaxing, reading, yoga and afternoon wine while watching the water and taking in the sun. The whole cottage is bright and airy - with enough room for us to work during the days and relax in the evenings. The location in Laguna Beach could not possibly be better; a short walk to the grocery store, great restaurants and our new favorite coffee shop. We walked early each morning and evening along Heisler Park and through the beautiful neighborhoods and the sunsets are magnificent. The hiking is also superb - and access to trails are just a short walk from the cottage. Other great walking/hiking trails within 20 minute drives in all directions so we were never bored. Gerri and Art were awesome hosts - while making our plans and during our stay they responded quickly to all our inquiries. We felt welcomed and at 'home' during our visit and enjoyed getting to know them as well. We loved our visit so much we have already made plans to return back to stay here again next year!

My son and myself had the unforgettable pleasure of renting your Laguna Beach home (through VRBO) this past October for a week. I wanted you to know what an incredible time we had and how fabulous we think the home is. I was able to stay in the front bedroom with the gauzy curtains. The continual sound of the waves was such a gift, as was the beautiful blue ocean view spread out in front of me. The home was extremely nice and very thoughtfully appointed. I loved the binoculars, and the kitchen was one of the best supplied I have ever experienced in a rental home.
The neighborhood was beautiful. We could walk to all the beaches, and even that amazing Pavillions grocery store across the street.
Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay there. It feels like home, and I hope we are able to come back for another stay soon.

My family and I just visited Laguna Beach for our 10th year in a row and we have stayed every time at this fantastic property. We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit the first several years while our kids were little, but now that they are older we’ve moved upstairs to the 2 bedroom unit to have more space. Both units are very well appointed, are super cozy and have great decks for hanging out to enjoy the cool ocean breezes and incredible views. And, you can’t beat the location. The property is located in North Laguna within a 5 minute walk to multiple beach coves and an easy walk to area parks, restaurants and lookout points. There is also a free shuttle that runs during the summer that will take you to Main Beach and the downtown area. It’s also a great location to home-base from if you’re looking to venture out on some day trips. We go to Disneyland every year and it’s an easy 30 minute drive. The property owners, Art and Gerri, are wonderful hosts and always make sure our stay is awesome. We’ve often thought about going to another beach location for our summer vacation, but our kids won’t let us! They love Laguna and the beach house. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Another perfect stay in Paradise - your beautiful, comfortable beach cottage on Cliff Dr! I have vacationed in Laguna Beach since the late '80's, typically staying in 4/5 Star oceanfront hotels which currently run $500-1200 per night. Really sorry it took me until 2017 to discover your perfect two bedroom cottage. First, it's everything the website photos show and more. An authentic, beachy vibe in a huge roomy living space with large bedrooms, great ocean views and a spectacular deck for relaxing with coffee or wine while listening to the waves crash on the beach below. SO much better than a square, sterile hotel room and having to dress to go for coffee or meals. It's very clean and well stocked with everything you need for a few nights or longer. I never brought or needed a car - it's an easy walk to town, one block to the grocery store, or across the street to jump on the free trolley if I'm going farther than downtown. The coves nearby are perfect for spending time away from the more crowded main beach. The restaurants of Laguna are terrific, the summer art festivals are always fun to explore and the Pageant of the Masters is an absolute MUST SEE. I rented the cottage for 2018 while I was in in 2017 and did the same this year for 2019. I really appreciate the small changes you make to keep the cottage fresh and the fact that the few times I've texted you with a question, you answer within one hour. Our family of four LOVED our stay here! Of the 15+ years we've been vacationing in Laguna, this cottage has the best deck, views, and ample space. The cottage is well cared for, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed every evening watching the sun set over the ocean from our deck. So relaxing...Unlike other cottages we've stayed in, Gerri's cottage gets cool ocean breezes, but also has air conditioning if needed which is a plus.Location was also a plus. The cottage is within a short walk to several uncrowded pristine beaches, and an easy walk or trolley into the main part of town.The hosts have thoughtfully supplied beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and other goodies for guests to use.We will not hesitate to stay here again! We have stayed in the one bedroom cottage many times, but decided to book the 2 bedroom this time. We were so happy we did, the view absolutely can not be beat. Honestly the photos posted of the master bedroom are 100% accurate- so romantic and breathtaking! Morning coffee, evening wine, with an ocean breeze on the balcony was my absolute favorite part of this relaxing cottage. Having the extra space was great as well- it truly feels like you can just move in upon entering. It was very clean, and there were many staples in the pantry and drawers to use which was great. Having a grocery store and many restaurants in walking distance is a huge plus. Working with Gerri and Art was super easy and never had to wait long for a response. Thank you again for another wonderful vacation and we can not wait to return.

We treasure our time at Laguna Beach Charmers from start to finish. There is something about the soothing sound and sight of the Pacific Ocean that continues to draw us back year after year.
As return visitors to both the one bedroom and two bedroom units, we have noticed that the units are updated regularly and in good working order. If you want to cook, the tools are provided. If you desire to eat out, excellent restaurants are within walking distance.
We enjoy walking along the beach in Heisler Park. We usually take in a play at the Laguna Play House and have been pleased with the talent and performance.
We usually don't plan a lot to do during our stay because being at the unit and so near the ocean is enough for us.
Gerri and Art, the owners, are close by if there are any concerns during our stay.

I have been staying at the Laguna Cottages for the past few years and been more than pleased with both the one bedroom and the two bedroom options!
I am very familiar with the vacation rental scene in Laguna as my family had a rental near Victoria Beach for about 3 years; we also owned a condominium right down the street from these laguna cottages on Cliff Drive.
I can say with great certainty that these cottages are among the best value you for the quality and location that you will find…and believe me I have done my research. You will not be disappointed! The location is convenient and situated close to private North Laguna cove beaches that are beautiful, they are close to town so you may walk and not deal with parking and it is on the beach side of PCH with a view of the beach! They are also close to Crystal Cove- one of my favorite places in the world- a three mile stretch of beach in southern California without houses! Sometimes in the winter months I run the beach and only see about a dozen people… yes, in Southern California an empty beautiful beach.
Although the cottage is older, it has very cute, clean updates and all the amenities needed for a fun trip to the beach. I absolutely love the two bedroom master that is lined with sheer drapes and the bed situated to look out over the ocean with lots of windows for breeze and viewing. Sometimes I take the hotter afternoon time to sit in bed, read, take in all the beauty and stay out of the hustle bustle below.
I don't stay anywhere else in Laguna if possible as the cottages are never a disappointment.

My family rented Laguna Beach Charmers in November 2017. Charming is exactly the right word to describe this gem of a cottage! The location is stunning, with expansive ocean views from the outdoor deck and master bedroom, and a very easy walk down to gorgeous beach and tidepools. Many terrific cafes and restaurants are also in easy walking distance. Inside the cottage, literally every detail has been considered by the owners. All the little touches you might enjoy in a luxury hotel can be found as you settle into Laguna Beach Charmers. Our family enjoyed two days at Disneyland while renting this cottage, but speaking for myself, I never wanted to leave!

My husband and I stayed in the BeachCharmers Cottage A for 10 days in April and loved it! The cottage is beautiful, romantic and has all you can ever need (we particularly appreciated the binoculars). The location is very handy, a walking distance to a good supermarket, several restaurants and even the town center (there's also a trolley stop nearby). Lovely hiking trails are also just minutes away. The location on the Coastal Highway means you get some traffic noise but we, as city people, got used to that really quickly. And you just forget everything else when you sit on the porch which was perfect, partly covered and with lovely lazy chairs to sit on and take in the views. We saw both whales and dolphins on several mornings. I'm not usually one to sit down and relax but this porch just was so inviting. And there was even enough room for us to practice with our local yoga teacher. We hope to be back.

What a wonderful Laguna cottage! It feels like home. My wife, 2 daughters, and I have stayed at this property for the past 7 years. Gerri and Art are incredible hosts and they go above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. The cottage is located in a great area of North Laguna with a very short walk to wonderful beach coves and a short drive (few blocks) to restaurants and grocery stores. There's even a free trolley that will take you up and down the PCH in the summer. The ambiance and view from the balcony is incredible. While at the cottage we spend most of our time, and eat most of our meals, outside on the balcony. The cottage is always clean, bright, and well-appointed with anything you will need during your stay. One of the best things is the outdoor shower where you can rinse the sand off of yourselves and the kiddos after a day at the beach before heading upstairs to the cottage. It's also a good place to "home base" from if you plan to do other things during your stay. We take a day trip to Disneyland every year and also visit friends in Long Beach. I can''t say enough good things about this place. There's a reason why we keep coming back year after year.

The PERFECT beach cottage! I have been visiting Laguna since I was a kid and now I bring my own family there every year. We have stayed in several beach rentals and this is definitely the best one we have stayed at. Location is perfect; steps to the beach, one block from grocery store, and great burger spot right across the street! The cottage is clean, bright, perfectly stocked and well taken care of. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We have already booked for next year and I think our search for the perfect beach rental is over!

Classic coastal cottage. This is a wonderful place for a quiet coastal get away. It is very well-stocked and well taken care of. The owners were very helpful and communication was good. They views from the deck are spectacular, hey great spot for breakfast or lunch. Parking was fine and it's a short walk to three fabulous beaches, even more if you walk a little farther. Good walking distance to town for dinner but if you want to write home, there is a trolley that drops you close to the front door. You can find Beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. In the laundry room for your trips to the beach. Highly recommended. We had a fabulous time.

Where is the "10" star button? Upon entering this amazing bungalow we were delighted. The view is expansive and so close to the ocean! Amazing sunsets too. Laguna trolly stops just down the street from the condo, less than a football field away. Its free on weekends in the fall/winter - so really no need for a car. The condo was clean, with a large living room and the beds so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, even during the Thanksgiving holiday we had everything we needed to prep our food. Best part of all is the deck, partially covered was great especially when it rained. We will not hesitate to come back and enjoy this outstanding spot, we were lucky in choosing this listing for our holiday in Laguna. Thanks Gerri!

Love this beach! Gerri, I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic week we were able to spend in your lovely cottage! It was so wonderful to be able to park the car and take it all in. My family loved walking to different beaches and really appreciated the umbrella, beach chairs and especially the boogie boards that you provided. The view from the bedrooms was amazing and my husband and I were thrilled that we could keep the windows and doors open to the breeze. I must say that the memory foam mattress topper was a godsend. I recently seriously injured both of my knees and I think that this was the first time I was able to sleep without a pillow between my knees in a month. I'm buying one of these things!. I have to say that our favorite thing about your cottage was the deck. Sunshine with morning coffee, evening cocktails watching the sunset, and nighttime by candle light. Had a blast in Laguna Beach! When we arrived at your cottage where we stayed for my nephew's senior recital at Chapman, it was over 100 degrees and smoky from the Carlsbad fires. I must say it was frightening dodging smoke plumes in order to land at Palomar Airport. The air cleared remarkably fast with the marine layer that arrived on the coast on the second day. Like the mountains I suppose, if you don't like the weather on the coast, wait 10 minutes... My sister, the mother of the trumpet playing graduate from Chapman, works for a billionaire who has a part time home in Montage down the coast from your cottages. Although the billionaire's house is an architectural masterpiece, full of almost priceless Asian art, has access to a luxury spa and catering, I'd rather stay in your beach cottages! It's much more fun to be close enough to town to walk, and to watch the street scene from your deck. We walked to the Laguna Beach Art Gallery, the beach across the street where we met lots of friendly locals, and to a cornucopia of fabulous restaurants. My sister only stayed with her boss at the Montage so as not to hurt her feelings, she wanted to be with us where the action was!

This property does indeed ooze charm, and its location couldn't be better. My husband, 16-year-old daughter and I had a glorious week at the neighboring beaches and tidepools, vast selection of restaurants, extensive shopping, the marine mammal rehab center, Crystal Cove State Park, and two day trips to LA to watch the taping of a TV show pilot, see a comedy troupe, visit the La Brea Tarpits and shop Melrose Avenue. The cottage itself is extremely cute, clean and comfortable, with ocean views from the bedrooms and living room as well as a nice deck. There was a great selection of beach books, board games, and even boogie boards and beach chairs. We spent a couple evenings just hanging out watching movies on the large flatscreen tv and lounging on the home's four couches. We also were pleased that the house was only 30 minutes from John Wayne Airport yet so close to several gorgeous cliff-enclosed coves, lovely parks, shopping and the restaurants. We've stayed in many VRBOs everywhere from Seattle to Boston, and this definitely ranks as one of our favorites. Can't wait to return.

Loved the cottage, could not have been more happier, loved it the second I stepped through the pre-open sliding glass doors and heard subtle jazz music playing. It was real welcoming. The deck/patio view along w/ the lounge chairs and fire-pit were great in the evenings. The location couldn't have been better, and the closest beach access was probably one of the most vacant and beautiful coves available. Plenty of tide-pools for kids. I definitely plan on staying here again.

I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay here. This is the first time that we rented a condo (we usually stay in hotels) and were surprised at the way you furnished and filled the cottage to meet all our needs. . . Even the kitchen worked fine and Dick loved the grill on the deck. Norm timed it perfectly to prune and clear the enclosed garden so we could also enjoy all the plants and statuary that you have there. We lived on the deck - even when it was cold. This house has so much charm and personality. Thank you for making this home available to us to feel so at home. The mornings are the best!! The sunsets from the deck or Divers' Cove on Heisler Park are not to be missed.
Our trip turned out as wonderful as we hoped that it would. Our accomodations were great, the weather was fabulous and Laguna Beach....only God could create something so spectacular. This is a gorgeous cottage in a beaurtiful and convenient location. Another fabulous Christmas and New Years will be added to our memories of bets experiences. What an honor to the history of Laguna Beach that you maintain these cottages and make them home to many who like to re-live some of the old! It quickly became home to us-upon awakening greeted by the birds--while "preening" and making breakfast seranaded by a person at the bustop-in Spanish- who was, like the birds, totally unaware of the pleasure he added to our day. To see the ocean from the "lanai"-leaving our car parked!! While Heisler Park and the beach are so beautiful to enjoy walking--it all together is a wonderful retreat.

What a wonderful vacation beach cottage. Comfortable bed and 100% cotton sheeets, just what the weary traveler needs. The views around here are spectacular and we walked all over-sometimes eight miles a day. We brought a pedometer. Also, the restaurants are plentiful and good, great hamburgers, yummy margaritas, delicious martinis and fabulous fish dishes. Whats not to like? Many thanks.

We stayed 6 nights at the charming property for a special birthday and it meet all our expectations. Quiet and convenient as well as clean. The location is perfect the beach is just a short walk on either side of Cliff Dr. We also enjoyed the coffee shop, restaurants, and grocery store which are also walking distance and the trolley stop just across the street that takes you downtown, very convenient if you don't want to deal with parking . Gerri and Art were very gracious hosts, thanks again for the flowers. What we enjoyed the most was waking up to the ocean view and eating meals on the balcony as well as the ocean breeze, there is a bbq grill and we grilled seafood one day and walked to Heisler park for a wonderful picnic. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to family and friends.

This property fully exceeded my expectations. The location is unparalleled with super-easy walking access to spectacular beaches and local restaurants and grocery stores. The apartment is charming, tastefully decorated, and thoughtfully equipped with all manner of supplies including battery operated clip lights for night reading--my personal favorite and a vacation rental first for me! The ocean view is breathtaking! Geri, our host, and her daughter, were beyond flexible and accommodating when we changed our group composition as a result of a last-minute family emergency. I cannot say more about how friendly, caring and kind they were to us! My only regret was having to leave, and since that moment, I have been plotting my return as soon as possible!

This is an absolutely fabulous rental with views of the ocean from the deck and both bedrooms. It is beautifully laid out and appointed--makes you feel like you are in a 1940s cottage by the beach. The place is so very comfortable and both the house and the views are better than the pictures that advertised the rental. I would stay there again and often.

The house is so tastefully remodeled and thoughtfully arranged. The patio has one of the best views we've seen in Laguna and is hard to pull yourself away from! The location is superb in a residential neighborhood with short walks to several beaches including some that we never knew were there. You can easily walk through Heisler Park into downtown Laguna and there are good local dining options just down the block from the house. It's on a major street (PCH) but you really don't hear the noise other than when in the kitchen or bathroom given how the house is situated. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

If you know Laguna and it’s origins, the beach bungalows that lined the coast were special architectural treasures of the time. This property is an amazing time capsule of a time long past before the exceptional costal estates there now. We loved our stay in Laguna. The apartment is in a perfect location on the North side of town. It’s walking distance to Shaw’s Cove, a nice small beach and Heisler Park which is absolutely beautiful. We also enjoyed having a grocery store super close and walkable, a coffee shop, and a small private gym that my sons, 21 and 17, were able to get day passes and work out. The apartment has amazing views from both bedrooms, the living room and the wonderful porch where we spent most of our time when we were there. We also loved walking Crystal Cove Beach which is just a few minutes up the road. Our favorite restaurant in Laguna was 230 on Forrest Ave and we also enjoyed The Beachcomber in the historic part of Crystal Cove State Park. Gerri, our host, was very quick to respond and help resolve an issue we had. She is a great host and has created a very well equipped and comfortable home for guests. We loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Our stay in Laguna Beach was absolutely perfect! We came to get away from the cold in Minnesota and could not have been happier. The Cottage has the absolute best of everything; and as awesome as the photos provided. The views from the huge windows are breathtaking - waking up in the morning to see the ocean and palm trees could not be any better. The porch was perfect for relaxing, reading, yoga and afternoon wine while watching the water and taking in the sun. The whole cottage is bright and airy - with enough room for us to work during the days and relax in the evenings. The location in Laguna Beach could not possibly be better; a short walk to the grocery store, great restaurants and our new favorite coffee shop. We walked early each morning and evening along Heisler Park and through the beautiful neighborhoods and the sunsets are magnificent. The hiking is also superb - and access to trails are just a short walk from the cottage. Other great walking/hiking trails within 20 minute drives in all directions so we were never bored. Gerri and Art were awesome hosts - while making our plans and during our stay they responded quickly to all our inquiries. We felt welcomed and at 'home' during our visit and enjoyed getting to know them as well. We loved our visit so much we have already made plans to return back to stay here again next year!

My son and myself had the unforgettable pleasure of renting your Laguna Beach home (through VRBO) this past October for a week. I wanted you to know what an incredible time we had and how fabulous we think the home is. I was able to stay in the front bedroom with the gauzy curtains. The continual sound of the waves was such a gift, as was the beautiful blue ocean view spread out in front of me. The home was extremely nice and very thoughtfully appointed. I loved the binoculars, and the kitchen was one of the best supplied I have ever experienced in a rental home.
The neighborhood was beautiful. We could walk to all the beaches, and even that amazing Pavillions grocery store across the street. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay there. My family and I just visited Laguna Beach for our 10th year in a row and we have stayed every time at this fantastic property. We stayed in the 1 bedroom unit the first several years while our kids were little, but now that they are older we’ve moved upstairs to the 2 bedroom unit to have more space. Both units are very well appointed, are super cozy and have great decks for hanging out to enjoy the cool ocean breezes and incredible views. And, you can’t beat the location. The property is located in North Laguna within a 5 minute walk to multiple beach coves and an easy walk to area parks, restaurants and lookout points. There is also a free shuttle that runs during the summer that will take you to Main Beach and the downtown area. It’s also a great location to home-base from if you’re looking to venture out on some day trips. We go to Disneyland every year and it’s an easy 30 minute drive. The property owners, Art and Gerri, are wonderful hosts and always make sure our stay is awesome. We’ve often thought about going to another beach location for our summer vacation, but our kids won’t let us! They love Laguna and the beach house. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Another perfect stay in Paradise - your beautiful, comfortable beach cottage on Cliff Dr! I have vacationed in Laguna Beach since the late '80's, typically staying in 4/5 Star oceanfront hotels which currently run $500-1200 per night. Really sorry it took me until 2017 to discover your perfect two bedroom cottage. First, it's everything the website photos show and more. An authentic, beachy vibe in a huge roomy living space with large bedrooms, great ocean views and a spectacular deck for relaxing with coffee or wine while listening to the waves crash on the beach below. SO much better than a square, sterile hotel room and having to dress to go for coffee or meals. It's very clean and well stocked with everything you need for a few nights or longer. I never brought or needed a car - it's an easy walk to town, one block to the grocery store, or across the street to jump on the free trolley if I'm going farther than downtown. The coves nearby are perfect for spending time away from the more crowded main beach. The restaurants of Laguna are terrific, the summer art festivals are always fun to explore and the Pageant of the Masters is an absolute MUST SEE. I rented the cottage for 2018 while I was in in 2017 and did the same this year for 2019. I really appreciate the small changes you make to keep the cottage fresh and the fact that the few times I've texted you with a question, you answer within one hour. Our family of four LOVED our stay here! Of the 15+ years we've been vacationing in Laguna, this cottage has the best deck, views, and ample space. The cottage is well cared for, well stocked, and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed every evening watching the sun set over the ocean from our deck. So relaxing...Unlike other cottages we've stayed in, Gerri's cottage gets cool ocean breezes, but also has air conditioning if needed which is a plus.Location was also a plus. The cottage is within a short walk to several uncrowded pristine beaches, and an easy walk or trolley into the main part of town.The hosts have thoughtfully supplied beach towels, chairs, boogie boards and other goodies for guests to use.We will not hesitate to stay here again! We have stayed in the one bedroom cottage many times, but decided to book the 2 bedroom this time. We were so happy we did, the view absolutely can not be beat. Honestly the photos posted of the master bedroom are 100% accurate- so romantic and breathtaking! Morning coffee, evening wine, with an ocean breeze on the balcony was my absolute favorite part of this relaxing cottage. Having the extra space was great as well- it truly feels like you can just move in upon entering. It was very clean, and there were many staples in the pantry and drawers to use which was great. Having a grocery store and many restaurants in walking distance is a huge plus. Working with Gerri and Art was super easy and never had to wait long for a response. Thank you again for another wonderful vacation and we can not wait to return.

We treasure our time at Laguna Beach Charmers from start to finish. There is something about the soothing sound and sight of the Pacific Ocean that continues to draw us back year after year.
As return visitors to both the one bedroom and two bedroom units, we have noticed that the units are updated regularly and in good working order. If you want to cook, the tools are provided. If you desire to eat out, excellent restaurants are within walking distance.
We enjoy walking along the beach in Heisler Park. We usually take in a play at the Laguna Play House and have been pleased with the talent and performance.
We usually don't plan a lot to do during our stay because being at the unit and so near the ocean is enough for us.
Gerri and Art, the owners, are close by if there are any concerns during our stay.

I have been staying at the Laguna Cottages for the past few years and been more than pleased with both the one bedroom and the two bedroom options!
I am very familiar with the vacation rental scene in Laguna as my family had a rental near Victoria Beach for about 3 years; we also owned a condominium right down the street from these laguna cottages on Cliff Drive.
I can say with great certainty that these cottages are among the best value you for the quality and location that you will find…and believe me I have done my research. You will not be disappointed! The location is convenient and situated close to private North Laguna cove beaches that are beautiful, they are close to town so you may walk and not deal with parking and it is on the beach side of PCH with a view of the beach! They are also close to Crystal Cove- one of my favorite places in the world- a three mile stretch of beach in southern California without houses! Sometimes in the winter months I run the beach and only see about a dozen people… yes, in Southern California an empty beautiful beach.
Although the cottage is older, it has very cute, clean updates and all the amenities needed for a fun trip to the beach. I absolutely love the two bedroom master that is lined with sheer drapes and the bed situated to look out over the ocean with lots of windows for breeze and viewing. Sometimes I take the hotter afternoon time to sit in bed, read, take in all the beauty and stay out of the hustle bustle below.
I don't stay anywhere else in Laguna if possible as the cottages are never a disappointment.

My family rented Laguna Beach Charmers in November 2017. Charming is exactly the right word to describe this gem of a cottage! The location is stunning, with expansive ocean views from the outdoor deck and master bedroom, and a very easy walk down to gorgeous beach and tidepools. Many terrific cafes and restaurants are also in easy walking distance. Inside the cottage, literally every detail has been considered by the owners. All the little touches you might enjoy in a luxury hotel can be found as you settle into Laguna Beach Charmers. Our family enjoyed two days at Disneyland while renting this cottage, but speaking for myself, I never wanted to leave!

My husband and I stayed in the BeachCharmers Cottage A for 10 days in April and loved it! The cottage is beautiful, romantic and has all you can ever need (we particularly appreciated the binoculars). The location is very handy, a walking distance to a good supermarket, several restaurants and even the town center (there's also a trolley stop nearby). Lovely hiking trails are also just minutes away. The location on the Coastal Highway means you get some traffic noise but we, as city people, got used to that really quickly. And you just forget everything else when you sit on the porch which was perfect, partly covered and with lovely lazy chairs to sit on and take in the views. We saw both whales and dolphins on several mornings. I'm not usually one to sit down and relax but this porch just was so inviting. And there was even enough room for us to practice with our local yoga teacher. We hope to be back.

What a wonderful Laguna cottage! It feels like home. My wife, 2 daughters, and I have stayed at this property for the past 7 years. Gerri and Art are incredible hosts and they go above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful experience. The cottage is located in a great area of North Laguna with a very short walk to wonderful beach coves and a short drive (few blocks) to restaurants and grocery stores. There's even a free trolley that will take you up and down the PCH in the summer. The ambiance and view from the balcony is incredible. While at the cottage we spend most of our time, and eat most of our meals, outside on the balcony. The cottage is always clean, bright, and well-appointed with anything you will need during your stay. One of the best things is the outdoor shower where you can rinse the sand off of yourselves and the kiddos after a day at the beach before heading upstairs to the cottage. It's also a good place to "home base" from if you plan to do other things during your stay. We take a day trip to Disneyland every year and also visit friends in Long Beach. I can''t say enough good things about this place. There's a reason why we keep coming back year after year.

The PERFECT beach cottage! I have been visiting Laguna since I was a kid and now I bring my own family there every year. We have stayed in several beach rentals and this is definitely the best one we have stayed at. Location is perfect; steps to the beach, one block from grocery store, and great burger spot right across the street! The cottage is clean, bright, perfectly stocked and well taken care of. The owner was a pleasure to work with and very responsive. We have already booked for next year and I think our search for the perfect beach rental is over!

Classic coastal cottage. This is a wonderful place for a quiet coastal get away. It is very well-stocked and well taken care of. The owners were very helpful and communication was good. They views from the deck are spectacular, hey great spot for breakfast or lunch. Parking was fine and it's a short walk to three fabulous beaches, even more if you walk a little farther. Good walking distance to town for dinner but if you want to write home, there is a trolley that drops you close to the front door. You can find Beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. In the laundry room for your trips to the beach. Highly recommended. We had a fabulous time.

Where is the "10" star button? Upon entering this amazing bungalow we were delighted. The view is expansive and so close to the ocean! Amazing sunsets too. Laguna trolly stops just down the street from the condo, less than a football field away. Its free on weekends in the fall/winter - so really no need for a car. The condo was clean, with a large living room and the beds so comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped, even during the Thanksgiving holiday we had everything we needed to prep our food. Best part of all is the deck, partially covered was great especially when it rained. We will not hesitate to come back and enjoy this outstanding spot, we were lucky in choosing this listing for our holiday in Laguna. Thanks Gerri!

Love this beach! Gerri, I just wanted to thank you for the fantastic week we were able to spend in your lovely cottage! It was so wonderful to be able to park the car and take it all in. My family loved walking to different beaches and really appreciated the umbrella, beach chairs and especially the boogie boards that you provided. The view from the bedrooms was amazing and my husband and I were thrilled that we could keep the windows and doors open to the breeze. I must say that the memory foam mattress topper was a godsend. I recently seriously injured both of my knees and I think that this was the first time I was able to sleep without a pillow between my knees in a month. I'm buying one of these things!. I have to say that our favorite thing about your cottage was the deck. Sunshine with morning coffee, evening cocktails watching the sunset, and nighttime by candle light. Had a blast in Laguna Beach! When we arrived at your cottage where we stayed for my nephew's senior recital at Chapman, it was over 100 degrees and smoky from the Carlsbad fires. I must say it was frightening dodging smoke plumes in order to land at Palomar Airport. The air cleared remarkably fast with the marine layer that arrived on the coast on the second day. Like the mountains I suppose, if you don't like the weather on the coast, wait 10 minutes... My sister, the mother of the trumpet playing graduate from Chapman, works for a billionaire who has a part time home in Montage down the coast from your cottages. Although the billionaire's house is an architectural masterpiece, full of almost priceless Asian art, has access to a luxury spa and catering, I'd rather stay in your beach cottages! It's much more fun to be close enough to town to walk, and to watch the street scene from your deck. We walked to the Laguna Beach Art Gallery, the beach across the street where we met lots of friendly locals, and to a cornucopia of fabulous restaurants. My sister only stayed with her boss at the Montage so as not to hurt her feelings, she wanted to be with us where the action was!

This property does indeed ooze charm, and its location couldn't be better. My husband, 16-year-old daughter and I had a glorious week at the neighboring beaches and tidepools, vast selection of restaurants, extensive shopping, the marine mammal rehab center, Crystal Cove State Park, and two day trips to LA to watch the taping of a TV show pilot, see a comedy troupe, visit the La Brea Tarpits and shop Melrose Avenue. The cottage itself is extremely cute, clean and comfortable, with ocean views from the bedrooms and living room as well as a nice deck. There was a great selection of beach books, board games, and even boogie boards and beach chairs. We spent a couple evenings just hanging out watching movies on the large flatscreen tv and lounging on the home's four couches. We also were pleased that the house was only 30 minutes from John Wayne Airport yet so close to several gorgeous cliff-enclosed coves, lovely parks, shopping and the restaurants. We've stayed in many VRBOs everywhere from Seattle to Boston, and this definitely ranks as one of our favorites. Can't wait to return.

Loved the cottage, could not have been more happier, loved it the second I stepped through the pre-open sliding glass doors and heard subtle jazz music playing. It was real welcoming. The deck/patio view along w/ the lounge chairs and fire-pit were great in the evenings. The location couldn't have been better, and the closest beach access was probably one of the most vacant and beautiful coves available. Plenty of tide-pools for kids. I definitely plan on staying here again.

This place is magical...from the variety of beaches steps away to the amazing energy of the whole town itself and the spectacular view from the balcony, the overall feel of this place is just perfect. We've been twice and would return. We love Laguna and staying anywhere else there would not feel like "home".

We had an amazing time in Laguna Beach. It was very difficult to leave. We cannot wait to return! Your place is magical in every way, the location and the whole feel of it. The kids LOVED the beaches as they are far more interesting w/ the rock pools and my son fished every day at fisherman's cove. I ran every morning on the path, it was heaven. We are already talking about renting again and perhaps with another family in the other unit!

To walk on the beach every morning, golf, and shop every afternoon, and enjoy margaritas every evening on the deck over looking the ocean was most special. I can't tell you how much we enjoyed our stay here. This is the first time that we rented a condo (we usually stay in hotels) and were surprised at the way you furnished and filled the cottage to meet all our needs. . . Even the kitchen worked fine and Dick loved the grill on the deck. Norm timed it perfectly to prune and clear the enclosed garden so we could also enjoy all the plants and statuary that you have there. We lived on the deck - even when it was cold. I grew up in Laguna Beach so I feel extremely fortunate. I've been going to Divers' Cove for 47 years! North Laguna is my childhood and full of wonderful memories. We felt truly at home. This house has so much charm and personality. Thank you for making this home available to us to feel so at home. The mornings are the best!! The sunsets from the deck or Divers' Cove on Heisler Park are not to be missed.
Our trip turned out as wonderful as we hoped that it would. Our accomodations were great, the weather was fabulous and Laguna Beach....only God could create something so spectacular. This is a gorgeous cottage in a beaurtiful and convenient location. Another fabulous Christmas and New Years will be added to our memories of bets experiences. Our freinds visting from near and far also loved this location and amenities. Your attention to detail with all the comforts of home were greatly appreciated. Thw weather was fantastic and the scenery of beach, sea and sunsets were just incredible. We love this area so much that we hope to rent an apartment long term for our USA visits.

What an honor to the history of Laguna Beach that you maintain these cottages and make them home to many who like to re-live some of the old! It quickly became home to us-upon awakening greeted by the birds--while "preening" and making breakfast seranaded by a person at the bustop-in Spanish- who was, like the birds, totally unaware of the pleasure he added to our day. To see the ocean from the "lanai"-leaving our car parked!! While Heisler Park and the beach are so beautiful to enjoy walking--it all together is a wonderful retreat.

What a wonderful vacation beach cottage. Comfortable bed and 100% cotton sheeets, just what the weary traveler needs. The views around here are spectacular and we walked all over-sometimes eight miles a day. We brought a pedometer. Also, the restaurants are plentiful and good, great hamburgers, yummy margaritas, delicious martinis and fabulous fish dishes. Whats not to like? Many thanks.
